Pascal Laferrière-Langlois

Subsequently in 2022, as he simultaneously finished his masters degree at Polytechnique Montreal in Mathematics and Industrial Engineering. He then completed his research fellowship in bioinformatics at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). At this time he co-founded the second arm of the Divocco Group, Divocco AI.
Pascal’s work has been financed by the Natural Science and Engineering Research in Canada (NSERC), the Institute for the Valorization of Data (IVADO), as well as Mitacs.
Upon his return to Montreal, he was began his assistant professorship at the Université of Montreal and began working as an adjunct professor at McGill University, in collaboration with the ITAG laboratory at the Montreal General Hospital. He also founded the Laboratory of Innovation in Anesthesia in Montreal (LIAM), where is currently serves as director to advance personalized medicine and anesthesia practices on a global scale. His academic research work is financed by the Fond de Recherche du Quebec en Santé (FRQS) and aims at developing and implanting novel technology in critical care settings.
He currently shares his time between clinical work as an anesthesiologist, bioinformatics researcher within the LIAM, and executive member of the Divocco Group.
As co-founder of the Divocco Group, he leads initiatives that revolutionize perioperative care through advanced medical devices and optimized distribution systems.

Jonathan Bernier
Director
Jonathan Bernier is a dynamic professional whose journey from NHL goaltender to successful entrepreneur demonstrates his passion for both excellence and innovation. Drafted 11th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in 2006, Jonathan’s storied hockey career included winning the Stanley Cup in 2012 and being a key player for teams like the Toronto Maple Leafs, Anaheim Ducks, Colorado Avalanche, and Detroit Red Wings.
Known for his reliability and sharp reflexes on the ice, he earned respect as a high-caliber athlete across the league. After retiring from the NHL in 2023, Jonathan applied his drive and leadership skills to new ventures off the ice.
Since the age of 19, Jonathan has nurtured a passion for startups, particularly in the med-tech sector.
His keen interest in technology and innovation led him to invest in four startup companies—two of which are at the forefront of medical technology.
Jonathan has always been drawn to companies that aim to revolutionize healthcare, especially in urgent care and critical care solutions, believing that innovation in these areas can significantly improve patient outcomes and access to timely care. His deep understanding of business strategy and his hands-on approach to partnerships allow him to identify promising opportunities and contribute meaningfully to their growth.
Before being named Director of Partnerships at Divocco Group, Jonathan was actively involved in fundraising for Divocco AI, helping secure the financial support necessary to drive the company’s vision forward. In his current role, he leverages his extensive network and leadership skills to drive the development and distribution of advanced medical technology, with a special focus on urgent care solutions. His work involves creating value by fostering strategic collaborations with key stakeholders, ensuring that innovation thrives in the competitive med-tech space. Jonathan’s commitment to improving healthcare through cutting-edge solutions and his entrepreneurial spirit continue to define this next chapter of his career.
